La série XS (« Extra Small ») de Midori réunit des outils de papeterie miniatures, pensés pour être emportés partout. Elle a reçu le Good Design Award pour son format compact et pratique. Ce ruban correcteur ne mesure que 5 cm de haut : il tient dans la paume de la main et se glisse dans une poche ou une trousse. Il permet de masquer proprement une faute ou une rature, et on peut écrire par-dessus immédiatement. Son boîtier blanc aux touches dorées a une face transparente, pour voir d’un coup d’œil ce qu’il reste de ruban.
