This small plate, decorated with a relief of continuous braided ropes, pays homage to the Japanese art of Mizuhiki, which consists of tying paper cords to adorn gifts. This act symbolizes good luck and is a centuries-old tradition in Japan. Made in Oda, the capital of Japanese ceramics, this porcelain plate is ideal for presenting a few cookies or a mochi, for example.
