Chasen Bamboo Matcha Whisk

The chasen, or Japanese matcha whisk, is an essential element of the traditional tea ceremony. This 100-strand bamboo whisk is probably the most commonly used matcha whisk. It is suitable for all types of Japanese powdered teas. It can be used to prepare matcha as usucha (light tea, approximately 80 ml of water per 1 g of matcha) or koicha (strong, thick tea, approximately 10 ml of water per 1 g of matcha), or to prepare matcha before mixing it with milk for a homemade matcha latte (70 ml of water per 1 g of matcha). This chasen is suitable for both beginners and professionals.
