In Japan, the gashuincho is a traditional notebook used to collect the calligraphed seals of temples and shrines, true spiritual souvenirs of each visit, or to collect stamps available throughout the country.
This model can of course be diverted from its initial use and become a travel diary, a sketchbook or a creative collection to note down poems, sketches or memories.
The soft faux leather cover is beautifully illustrated with dancing autumn maple leaves, creating a soothing, seasonal atmosphere. With its accordion-folded hosho paper, it adapts to your every need. The slightly absorbent paper enhances both ink and watercolor.
