Ce papier à lettres vertical de Midori, appelé « ippitsusen » au Japon, a un format allongé idéal pour les mots courts. Il est orné d’un dahlia aux tons doux de rose et de jaune, imprimé en sérigraphie avec une encre nacrée dont les reflets changent selon l’angle de vue. Le papier est un Iyo washi, fabriqué traditionnellement dans la préfecture d’Ehime, à la texture « hakeme » marquée de légères traces de pinceau. Les feuilles sont blanches, et un guide ligné à glisser dessous aide à écrire droit.
