Hobonichi Graph Notebook A5 – Keiko Shibata: Who is she?

The Hobonichi Graph Notebook faithfully reproduces the characteristics of the Hobonichi Techo — same Tomoe River S paper, same 3.7 mm grid — in an undated, free, and endlessly refillable notebook. Its cover is illustrated by Keiko Shibata using oil pastel: cats have heard the doorbell ring and are watching the entrance from the hallway and even from the outside window. Are they in a welcoming mood, or are they hesitant to let the visitor in? The spine is bright red, like the door, with the artist's signature printed on it.

Despite its 288 pages of Tomoe River paper, the notebook is only 10 mm thick. The color of the grid ink changes every 72 pages (red, blue, green, purple) to facilitate organization by theme or to easily find old entries. In A5 size, it is compatible with all Hobonichi Techo A5 Cousin covers.

Ideal as a complement to a Hobonichi Techo, or as a sketchbook, notebook, or journaling book.
